Magic Decks

These decks were created for fun. Some contain Unglued cards, while others stick to tournament construction rules. They may not win all the time, and most were designed for group games. Deck ideas can be submitted to eric@huynh.homeip.net and I'll tweak and post them when I have the chance. The decks are mostly categorized by aggressive, combo, control or theme play styles.

A lot of these decks have 33% mana. Again, these were made for fun, and not with winning in mind (well, sometimes...). (There's no point in putting in extra land when you can put in more fun cards.) There are no sideboards because I don't play tournaments, so my entire magic collection is my sideboard.



Abandoned Angel (Black/Red Aggro Deck)

This is a semi-serious deck, combining cheap weenies and token creatures. Sacrifice dying creatures to a Fallen Angel to pump it up. Generate lots of tokens with Breeding Pits, and have fun gaining life with Soul Net when creatures go to the graveyard.

Creature Control (Blue Combo Deck)

A semi-serious deck that needs to be left alone for a while to develop. Once you have 4 Islands out, the fun begins and you should steal the best of the creatures in play (preferably with a high casting cost - you'll see). If someone is about to get it back, make it blue with Thoughtlace and sacrifice the creature to your Homarid Spawning Bed for lots of weenie Camarids. The weenies will be huge from a Sunken City or two, and you should have no problem dealing lots of damage. You'll need to change some of your opponent's lands to Islands in order to use Seasinger.
